Can you share insight to your professional background and what drew you to join Trust The Process as CEO?

My background consists of various executive leadership roles and I have a deep understanding of the outsourcing industry. TTP Outsourcing was one of my clients whilst I was consulting for various companies in the outsourcing space. I identified numerous opportunities for significant growth and success. This insight motivated me to join the TTP team, transitioning from a consultant to an active team member. By doing so, I aim to turn my strategic visions into practical initiatives, driving innovation and achieving significant outcomes.

What are your initial impressions of the company and its culture?

TTP consists of a strong, ambitious team. Personally, I prioritise people above all else, and they are the key factor in my decision making process to join a company.

Being a company that has a large emphasis on automation and people is a key driver for me.

What are your primary goals for Trust The Process in the next year?

In the next year, my primary goals for Trust The Process are to enhance team collaboration and development by prioritising our people and investing in their growth. We will significantly expand our client base through game changing value ads and industry expertise, and improve operational efficiency by streamlining processes and leveraging technology. I aim to drive innovation with a culture that embraces new ideas, and achieve financial growth through strategic planning and data-driven decisions. These objectives will drive TTP's success and strengthen our position as an industry leader.

How do you see the outsourcing industry evolving over the next five years, and how will Trust The Process stay ahead of these changes?

I believe that the outsourcing industry is still very young in terms of possibility and value. Evolution is the key to success for us and our clients/prospects. We intend on leveraging technology and our experience to position our offering as a leading provider.

What are some challenges you foresee in the outsourcing industry, and how do you plan to address them?

Talent is crucial in the outsourcing industry. Without the right candidates for our clients, challenges such as high staff turnover, low productivity and poor client experiences are inevitable. Talent is a key factor in every client's decision to partner with us. We are committed to overcoming these challenges by investing in our recruitment department and processes through upskilling and technology, and we seek to partner with clients who prioritise their teams growth and well-being.

Can you share a personal leadership philosophy or a piece of advice that has guided you throughout your career?

Empowered and content individuals are inherently more productive. It comes down to the old saying “look after your people and they’ll look after the business”. My goal is to cultivate a company culture where proactive contributors outnumber passive participants. This environment ensures every team member has ample opportunities to advance their career and expand their knowledge within the organisation.

With Shaun Smith at the helm, Trust The Process is poised for a bright and successful future. We are excited about the innovative strategies and growth opportunities he brings to the table. Stay tuned as we embark on this exciting journey together!
