‘Trust the Process’ provides a shift in mindset to help Maid My Day systemise their business
Maid My Day, a rapidly growing cleaning company who specialises in home, office, strata and aged care cleaning has been operating for over 14 years on the East coast of Australia. A company with over 200 staff with even bigger goals they have given themselves the target to double their revenue in 2020.
Though already a successful business, Maid My Day identified in early 2019 that they did not have the processes and systems to continue to successfully scale without putting their growth at risk. They were caught in a cycle, the more work they won the more convoluted the business became and concerns grew they may crumble under their own success.
However, a shift in mindset was all it took to allow Maid My Day to truly scale and focus on growing their business the right way. After conducting several workshops with ‘Trust the Process’ on how to systemise their business and incorporating offshore workers (Virtual Assistants), Maid my Day could feel their processes becoming more streamlined. Additionally, with reduced admin labour costs and increased capacity from extra staff Maid my Day could focus on growth and hiring more revenue generating cleaning staff.
After engaging ‘Trust the Process’ in March of 2019, Maid My Day has gone from 1 x Virtual Assistant working 2 hours a day to a team of 5 across multiple departments completing up to 24 different tasks including;
- CRM management
- Management of Xero and invoicing
- Recruitment and job placement
- Customer service
- General Admin and research task
This was achieved as co-founder Jacquie Crus states;
‘We needed a shift in mindset for this to work. I was very apprehensive to use Virtual Assistants, however, once I started I just saw so much opportunity. They have truly enabled our business to leverage its own time whilst providing me with the freedom to focus on business growth rather than the day to day. The ‘Trust the Process’ team supported us every step of the way and made the transition seamless’.
This shift in mindset saw Maid My Day review their operations and staffing options and after 14 years of operating truly systemise their business. The Numbers;
- Accounts receivable reduced by 50%
- 20 hours per week time saved for directors
- 24 Tasks outsourced across multiple departments
- Increased the capacity to scale, specifically within the age cared industry, which has grown by since 2019
- Increase the volume of hours of service
- Created a business that works with the founders.
- On track to reach their 2020 revenue goals
Maid My Day are now confident in achieving their goal of doubling their revenue and co-Founder Jacquie hasn’t looked back;
‘Even as we speak I’m thinking about how I can make my business more efficient. I have plans to bring on 2-3 more VA’s in the next 6 months as we grow. If you want to take back control of your time and truly systemise your business ‘Trust the Process’ is for you.’
